A series of international webinars arranged by Department of Biological Sciences (Female Campus) of International Islamic University (IIU) concluded with the activity of a talk delivered by Prof. Dr. Heather Wallace from University of Aberdeen, UK on Molecular Medicine and Cancer.
The department arranged webinars throughout the semester fall 2020 by inviting prominent scientists all over the world who are working in all aspects of Biotechnology and Medical Sciences with recent progress in several directions within the field.
In her talk, Dr. Heather highlighted the design of targeted and safe medicine for cancer treatment, how this field can explore the impact of molecular chemistry on recent developments in cancer therapy and the prospects for future step-challenges in cancer chemoprevention.
The chairperson, Dr. Sobia Tabassum thanked the guest Speaker and concluded the interactive session with an announcement to continue these scientific activities while keeping in mind the interest and excellent feedback from the audience including students, researchers, faculty, and the scientific community.
