Professor Dr N. B. Jumani, Acting President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has been selected for “Gold medal” award in recognition of his dignified, determined, dynamic and dedicated performance in the field of education, teaching, research and administration.
The gold medal award is given every year by “ Istehkam e Pakistan Foundation” for high performance to government officers, educationists and the people of different walks of life. Professor Dr N. B. Jumani is presently serving as Acting President at IIUI.
Previously, Dr Jumani has worked as Dean Faculty of Social Sciences at IIUI. He has also served as a professor in the Education Department and Directorate of Distance Education Director at IIUI.
He has worked in Federal Ministry of Education as Programme Coordinator Officer and performed Administrative responsibilities at national level. He has Training exposure to famous universities of the world like Training at Deakin University, Australia.
He has written a good number of research papers on Education. He has the privilege of being on the panel of many international conferences. He is member of national and international organizations in the field of Education and Training like MESH(Mapping Educational Special KnowHow).

It is pertinent to mention here that Prof N. B Jumani is among the very few who have experience of successfully launching online and distance learning programmes.
