Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh, President, International Islamic University Islamabad called on His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League at his Office in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). During the meeting President IIUI wished warm greetings of Edi-Al-Adha, congratulated on successful efforts for arrangements of Hajj during this year and lauded his role for successful holding of the international conference titled “Mercy and Expedition in Islam”. He also appreciated the efforts of Muslim World League, especially of His Excellency, Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdul Karim, Secretary General, Muslim World League, on current international issues, highlighting true values of Islam in Muslim and non Muslim countries during his recent trips.
His Excellency, Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League welcomed Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh, President, IIUI and appreciated his efforts for the
promotion of the university and dissemination of Islam’s message of peace and co-existence. He also appreciated efforts of the President, IIUI in the field of education and advancement of university in the contemporary challenges of the hour.
During the meeting holding of an international conference titled “The role of religious and scientific institutions and bodies in achieving the values of tolerance and co-existence in societies”, was also discussed in detail. In the end H.E. Secretary General, Muslim World League, assured his full cooperation for further development of the university.
