H.E. Professor Dr. Ahmad Salem Muhammad Al- Ameri , Pro-Chancellor of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and President, Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University visited the new academic block and the Students Facilitation Centre established in the light of the vision to facilitate students under one roof on priority and with the use of modern and digitized approach.
Honorable Pro-Chancellor was briefed about the facilities at the facilitation centre and benefits of the students centric approach implemented by President IIUI. He was given a detailed briefing by Vice President Academics.
This new academic block has been established with Saudi Funding, whereas a center for the facilitation of students has also been set up within the block as per guidelines of HEC.
H.E. Professor Dr. Ahmad Salem Muhammad Al- Ameri appreciated the use of technology for the facilitation of the students. He opined that digitization and advance use of technology are the needs of time. He advised that more such initiatives to facilitate the students must be introduced.
He said IIU is a promising seat of learning as it is providing quality education to more than 30 thousand students including foreigner students of more than 40 countries. He appreciated the vision and efforts of Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi saying that his student centric approach is laudable and this new facility to solve the issues of the students with use of modern technology is useful addition.
