Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman has been appointed as Vice President Academics of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). According to an office order, “Board of Governors of the university has approved appointment of Dr. Abdul Raheman, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) as Vice President Academics”.
Dr. Abdul Raheman completed his Phd in management sciences from COMSATS Institute of Informational & and Technology, Islamabad. His specialization field is Finance. His research interests include Corporate Finance, Working Capital Management, Capital Structure, Dividend Policy, Initial Public Offering’s, Capital Markets, Efficiency Analysis and Productivity growth. He has around 25 years experience of various administrative and research based positions. Dr. Abdul Raheman prior to IIUI has also served as Director of the school of management at Quaid e Azam university in addition to his additional duties as treasurer and Director ORIC at the same university.
Dr. Abdul Raheman has also served as Dean of the faculty of management and administrative sciences at Gujrat university. In the same university he has also served as Director administration and coordination.In addition to his dozens of national and international publications,he has also supervised a number of MS and PhD thesis.
The academic fraternity and the university leadership congratulated him on the appointment as Vice President Academics. He assumed his duties on Friday at his office in the Directorate of Academics and Examinations.
