Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), presided over the 88th meeting of the Academic Council at the New Campus on Monday.
Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed emphasized prioritizing academic excellence, efficient utilization of resources, and adopting modern trends to enhance research and quality assurance. The council discussed recommendations from committees on academic and research matters concerning students, alongside other agenda items related to academic affairs.
Attendees included Prof. Dr. Jahanzeb Khan, Professor (Meritorious), University of Peshawar, Ex-Vice Chancellor, FATA, University, Kohat (Nominee of the BOG), Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President (A&F) / (Academic), Directors General, Deans of Faculties, Professors, Directors / Secretary of the Academic Council.
Two Nominee of the Rector, IIUI Dr. Abdul Basit, Associate Professor, Dept. Electrical & Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Dr. Abdul Zahid Khan, Associate Professor, Dept. of Technology & Project Management, Faculty of Management Sciences, IIUI also attended the meeting.
