H.E. Dr. Hathal bin Hamoud Al-Otaibi, President International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) chaired the 47th meeting of Finance and Planning Committee (F&P) held here in IRI, seminar room on Friday at Faisal Masjid campus of university.
During the meeting, IIUI President was briefed about university’s financial landscape and matters pertaining to planning by the members of the committee. The committee discussed agenda items pertaining to finance and planning.
On this occasion Budget 2021-22 of IIU Main and for the constituent units of the university was presented before F&P Committee for making recommendations to the Board of Governors (BoG) for approval.
President IIUI stressed that no stone should be left unturned to bring IIUI among the top ranks of international institutions as we have set our goals by making strategic plan (2022-26) for this purpose.
He assured that all possible cooperation and supervision will be provided to all the designated teams for achieving these goals. The IIUI President opined that hard work is a prerequisite for success and he will be happy to encourage dedicated officials of university.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Munir, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education and Professional Training, Mr. Ghulam Nabi, Director General Finance, Higher Education Commission, Prof. Dr. N.B. Jumani, Vice President (A&F), Director QAD, Dr. Rehmat Elahi, Advisor Finance, Muhammad Nauman, Incharge Finance, Noor Hussain and Additional Director Finance, Ayaz Ali.
