The Office of Professional Training, Directorate of HRM&D at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), concluded a two-day training program on Procurement through E-PADS devised by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority PPRA Government of Pakistan Islamabad.
The training was organized under the directives of the Vice President (A&F), aimed to improve efficiency and transparency in the university’s procurement processes.
Engr. Syed Asif Kamal, Additional Director Electrical, conducted the sessions. He provided participants with practical guidance on various aspects of the E-PADS system, including e-procurement planning, tender submission, evaluation, grievance redressal, contract award, payment, and catalogue management. Participants actively engaged in the training exercises to better understand the system’s functionalities.
At the closing ceremony, Director HRM&D, Mr. Ateeq ur Rehman Chughtai, highlighted the importance of modern technological tools in improving institutional processes. He urged participants to implement the skills acquired during the program in their respective departments and stressed the need for continuous learning to adapt to evolving technologies.At the end course completion certificates were distributed among participants of the training.
