SCHEDULE OF COLLECTION OF GOWNS, CARDS AND REHEARSAL ANNOUNCED
Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President Academics, International Islamic University (IIU) chaired the meeting of the conveners of the sub-committee for 12th convocation of university. The meeting reviewed final preparations for the mega event and took various important decisions.
The Director Academics apprised that the collection points for the invitation cards will be set up by the Directorate of Academics and examination. Male graduates will collect invitation cards and gowns at Students Facilitation Centre, HUI, Room No. 114 on November 6th & 7th, 2023 from 9:00AM to 3:30PM. Female graduates will collect cards and gown on November 6 & 7th, 2023 from 9:00AM to 3:30PM at Students Facilitation Centre, IIUI, Room No. 126. The invitation cards and gowns will also be available on the convocation day at the Jinnah Convention Centre.
It was also decided that the full dress rehearsal will be held on November 7, 2023 at 9:00AM to 12:00PM (1″ Session) at Jinnah Convention Centre. In first session, all male Graduates and Female Graduates of Faculty of Arabic, Faculty of Usuluddin, Faculty of Sharia & Law and Faculty of Language & Literature. It will also be joined by all MS/PhD students Male & Female and All Gold Medalist of MS Degree programs.
The second session will be held on November 7, 2023 at 1:00PM to 4:00PM. It will be joined by all Female Graduates of following the faculties of Computing and IT, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Management Sciences and International Islamic Institute of Economics.
In the meeting final matters about proceedings, seat and hall management as well as refreshment were discussed. The committee also discussed on the spot facility of distribution of distinction certificates.
The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. N.B. Jumani, Vice President Administration and Finance, conveners of the committees and relevant officers including directors and in-charges.
