KSA EMBASSY HOSTS IFTAR AT FAISAL MASJID 

An Iftar dinner was hosted by the Embassy of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) at Faisal Masjid. The Iftar Dinner was attended by KSA Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Malki, officisl of Mataba tu Dawah,  diplomats of Islamic countries, IIUI President Dr. Al-Draiweesh, IIUI Vice Presidents, DG Dawah Dr. Sohail Hassan and people from the twin cities.

The Iftar was part of series of such receptions in Ramzan from the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques for the Muslims.

Later, Ambassador and other guests offered Maghrib prayer at Faisal Masjid. IIUI President addressing on the occasion said that the Iftar program 2019 by the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques is an omen of his immense love for Muslim world.

He hailed KSA initiatives for the betterment of Muslims and also appreciated efforts of the KSA Ambassador to Pakistan. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh urged the Muslim youth to disseminate Islam’s message of peace adding that fasting is all about patience, virtue and peace.

He said Holy month of Ramadan is an opportunity to get rid of societal issues and prevailing mal practices as it makes the minds, souls and actions as limpid as water.

The Ambassador  said that all Islamic countries have similarities and this month further strengthens the bond of unity and brotherhood among them. He was of  the view that such gatherings provide opportunities for cultural exchange. The iftar was attended by a  large numbers of people from twin cities.
