The Islamic Research Institute (IRI) of the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), successfully concluded the “Orientation, Capacity Building, and Research Planning” workshop for the third cohort of its International Postdoctoral Fellowship (Session 2024-2025).
The closing ceremony was held on Friday, at the Allama Iqbal Auditorium, Faisal Masjid Campus. H.E. Senator Anwaar ul Haq Kakar, President of Economic Policy and Business Development, graced the event as the chief guest. He delivered an extension lecture on the significance of economic policy in shaping Pakistan’s future.
During the ceremony, Senator Kakar distributed certificates to the postdoctoral fellows, acknowledging their participation in the program aimed at enhancing research and academic excellence.
The ceremony was also addressed by Director General IRI, Dr. Muhammad Zia ul Haq who thanked Senator Anwar up Haq for gracing the occasion and also apprised of the details of the Post-Doc programme, its success story and contents.
