The Institute of Professional Development (IPD) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) conducted a workshop on “Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate (CDIO)” at The Crescent School Lahore.
The workshop, led by Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh, Director of IPD IIUI, focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of project-based learning and the application of the CDIO framework to improve educational practices.
Key themes of the workshop included sustainability, digitization, acceleration, and reflection in the learning process. Participants, comprising school heads and senior teachers, actively engaged in a specially designed activity that emphasized experiential learning.
The session concluded with appreciation remarks from Ms. Rabia Najam, Principal of The Crescent School, and Mr. Altaf Muhammad Saleem, Secretary/Managing Trustee of The Crescent School. Both praised the efforts of IPD, IIUI and expressed interest in future collaborations on similar initiatives.
