PhD Arabic (Literature & Linguistics) 3 years	Male & Female	1- MS/M.Phil from IIUI, 2- M.A. (Arabic) IIU (18 years),3- M. Phil from other Universities in Pakistan, 4- M.A. (Arabic) with thesis from recognized Arab Universities with minimum CGPA 3.00/4.00 in semester system or 65% marks in annual system. (For Sr. No. 3 & 4 the Faculty shall offer preparatory courses).
MS Arabic (Literature & Linguistics) 2 years	Male & Female	1-B.A. (Hons)/BS-(4 years) Arabic from IIU, 2-M.A. (Arabic) from IIU (2 years), 3-M.A (Arabic) from other Universities with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. 4. Shahadah-tul-Almiyah from recognized Wafaqs’ Board with 60% marks along with Equivalence Certificate from HEC. However, S. No.3&4 will have to study two semesters preparatory courses to enhance their skill to understand regular subjects of the program.

MS Translation Studies 2 years	Male & Female	a) BS. Translation & Interpretation/equivalent degree (16 years education) with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in the annual system. OR b) BS Arabic, Islamic Studies/LLB Shariah& Law/equivalent degree (16 years education) with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system, with Proficiency in Arabic and English. OR c) M.A/MSC /equivalent degree (16 years education) with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system with proficiency in Arabic and English. Note: Candidates with qualifications No. (b & c) will have to study preparatory/deficiencycourses prescribed by the Department to enhance their knowledge about the field.
BS in Translation & Interpretation 4 years With specialization in: a) Bilingual Arabic <> English b) Trilingual Arabic <> English & Native / National Language of the student Languages offered: Urdu, Persian, French, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, German, Thai, Turkish	Male & Female	HSSC or equivalent with 50 % marks OR Deeni Sand Khasa & Aama, along with Equivalence Certificate form IBCC. The equivalent degree holders have to complete pre-requisite determined by department.
PhD in Software Engineering 3 years	Male & Female	MS/M.Phil (Software Engineering) or equivalent with research thesis securing minimum CGPA 3.00/4.00 or with 65% marks in annual system. The equivalent degree holders have to complete pre-requisite determined by department.
MS in Computer Science 2 years	Male & Female	BS 4 years in CS/SE/IT/CE degree program or equivalent having completed minimum 130 credit hours, OR MCS / M.Sc (CS), or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 60% marks in annual system. OR BCS (Hons) / BCS 3-years with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 60% marks in annual system. However, the student will be required to spend two additional semesters to study the deficient courses determined by the department.
MS in Software Engineering 2 years	Male & Female	BS (CS/SE/IT) 4 years degree program min 130 credit hours, or MCS/M. Sc. (CS), or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. OR BCS (Hons.) or BCS 3-years degree program with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. Student will be required to complete the deficiency of difference of earned credit hours and total of 130 credit hours. OR BS/BE (Computer/Electronics/Communication) engineering degree or M.Sc. (Electronics / Communication) with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. Student will be required to complete the deficiency courses.
MS in Data Science 2 years	Male & Female	16 Years Graduate Degree in (BS) CS/SE/IT/CE or MCS / M.Sc (CS) or BCS (Hons) / BCS 3-years (However, the student will be required to spend two additional semesters to study the deficient courses determined by the department.) or equivalent with CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 60% marks from Annual/Conventional System where CGPA is not calculated or 65% marks in the semester system examination, where CGPA is not mentioned on terminal degree/transcript.

Statement of purpose (to ascertain the preparedness & interest of the candidate). University Admission Test 70% marks.
MS Engineering Management 2 years	Male	BS/BE (16 years education) in Engineering or equivalent degree duly recognized by HEC with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. PEC registration is mandatory.
MS Mechanical Engineering 2 Years	Male	BS/BE (4 years) in (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Industrial / Manufacturing / Aerospace / Aeronautical / Energy / Metallurgy / Material) Engineering with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. PEC registration is mandatory.

MS Environmental Science 2 years	Male & Female	16 Years Graduate Degree (MSc/BS) in Environmental Science or relevant disciplines with CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks from Annual/Conventional System where CGPA is not calculated or 65% marks in the semester system examination, where CGPA is not mentioned on terminal degree/transcript. The successful candidates applying from relevant disciplines like Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Forestry, Soil Sciences, Wildlife and Earth Sciences (Geography, Geology, GIS, Geophysics, and Metrology etc.) will have to pass deficiency courses of BS Environmental Science (Non-Credit) as prerequisite.

Note:All MS/ LL.M Shariah& Law and its allied programs will be offered in Arabic & English mediums, However proficiency in both languages and aptitude will be required. *The students admitted in any MS/ LLM degree program who are not the graduates of IIU will have to study additional courses of Shariah/ Arabic language/ Law as per IIU rules and as per the recommendations of the admission committee (The period spend for languages and additional courses will be additional to the minimum period of the degree).
