The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) was established in year 2007 with Department of Electronic Engineering as its first constituent department. Later Department of Mechanical Engineering started working as the second constituent department of FET in January 2010. The present Faculty of Engineering and Technology is one of the largest Faculties within the Islamic University with a BS, MS & Ph D programs and present population of engineering is over 1200. This includes 200 female students. The syllabus is continually under development and review, in line with the requirements of various professional bodies (Higher Education Commission and Pakistan Engineering Council) that accredit our programs. Following the success of previous Open Houses since 2010, IIUI Electronic Engineering Department invites you to another event that is “4th Open House 2013”. This event will occur in male and female campus simultaneously. It will be a great opportunity for all the intellectuals, industry professionals and students alike to take maximum benefit from this “Open House”

R&D Projects and Technology Displays
The projects from our final year students of the Department of
Electronic Engineering and Term/Hobbyist projects from Department of
Mechanical Engineering will be presented.
This show will help the students to seek their carriers in the industry or pursue for the higher studies. The Faculty members will also display their commercial and research related work/projects in the Open House.
Industrial and Commercial Stalls
Our esteemed guests/visitors from the Electronic Engineering Industry/Organizations are welcome to put up their stalls for new/developments and commercial products for exhibition. They can market their products on the occasion as well give technical demonstrations to the visitors. They will be provided space and help for this purpose on “first come first serve basis”.
Department of Electronic Engineering (DEE) Tour
A guided tour of the Open House our students R&D projects as well as industrial products exhibition stalls and Department of Electronic Engineering, will be conducted for the visitors/guests by the Members of the Organizing Committee. All the guests will be received at the DEE entry door and program leaflets/information will be given to the participants.
Opportunity to meet with Experts from the Industry and Academia
From Industries/Organizations, Scholars from Academia and students will be present during this occasion to exchange ideas, discuss issues, mark future course of R&D work, etc.
Talent Hunt
By organizing Open House, Faculty will provide a platform to their students to interact with professionals from industry and R&D organizations. Thus professionals will have an opportunity to judge technical and communication skills of our students from their work. It will give our students a chance to seek job interviews.
The parents of students are encouraged to see their children’s R & D Projects. We welcome you all, and would be looking forward to see you on 16th May, 2012, in International Islamic University, H-10, Islamabad.

Note: Male Visitors are not allowed in Female Campus and Females will not be entertained in Male Campus.
