Imam of grand Mosque of Kaaba, Dr. Saleh Bin Abdullah Bin Hemeid led Maghrib prayers at Faisal, met IIUI leadership and officials at university’s guest house, where he urged them to stay united. He said it was a need of time to be one and disseminate Islam’s message of peace.
On the occasion university President, Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh was also present , while university Vice President, deans and other high ups also had honour to talk with imam e kaaba, where they also asked questions about Islam and religious aspects of human life.
Imam e Kaaba said the Muslims would have to put aside their differences and they would have to tell the world that they are the followers of the religion of peace. He also appreciated the role and services of IIUI and prayed for its prosperity. He said that university was an omen of strong relationship between KSA and Pakistan.
Earlier, Dr. Al-Draiweesh welcomed the Imam of grand Mosque and thanked him for participation in the international Conference on Halal Food, where he addressed and shared prudent thoughts.
President IIUI also told that Dr. Saleh was also a renowned academicians and served as Dean of the Faculty of Shari’a at Umm Al Qura University,Saudi Arabia. He also told that it’s been his 34 years as Imam e Haram.
