IIUI RECTOR EXTENDS FELICITATIONS ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has extended heartiest felicitations to all Pakistanis, officials and students of the university, on the occasion of Independence Day.

In a special message in connection with jubilations to mark the independence day, Dr. Masoom said the day reminds of the unmatched sacrifices rendered by our forefathers to protect religious, cultural and social values. He said the day demands to promise commitment to pursue the objectives that led to creation of an independent Muslim state.

Dr. Masoom said we must not forget secrifices and struggle of Kashmiris. He said Indian oppression and heinous crimes in occupied Kashmir must be stopped and world powers must come forward to save humanity.

The IIUI Rector stressed that role of universities is vital to highlight the cruelty of Indian forces on innocent Kashmiris. He said the tyranny unleashed against innocent civilians in Kashmir has crossed all limits and it has endangered the peace of the region as well.

At the end, he called upon youth to work hard for the progress of the country while saying that youth has power to change fate of country.
