Dr. Hathal bin Hamoud Al-Otaibi, President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) chaired a meeting with Vice Presidents of the University.
Earlier, IIUI President, upon his arrival at the campus, was warmly welcomed by the Vice Presidents. The meeting was attended by Vice President AF&P, Prof. Dr. N. B. Jumani, President Academics, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Prof. Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Vice President HS&R and Prof . Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Vice President female campus.
During his meeting with the IIUI Vice Presidents, Dr. Hathal urged for preparation of a well devised strategic plan on academics, planning, finance and research. The IIUI President said that the plan will be focused on three of its aspects short term, medium term and long term. During the meeting, vision and planning for E-learning and blended education was also discussed, upon which IIUI President said it will be one of the important aspects that may lead IIUI towards its goal of internationalization.
Dr. Hathal assured of every possible cooperation and supervision to achieve the set goals. IIUI President desired that a dedicated email for the suggestions pertaining to improvements, progress and issues should be generated that will be supervised by Vice President Academics. He also directed that all the Deans must be conveyed to submit a SWOT analysis within 10 days so that pace for the preparation of strategic plan be doubled.
