Female Students at female campus along with Resident house tutor and the warden at C block of hostels commemorated the ‘Labour Day’ by working on the behalf of labor staff and also cooked food for them to mark the day.
On the occasion cakes and gifts were distributed among mess staff, sweepers and others. Students made speeches for the prerogatives of the laborers and called upon the society to protect their fundamental rights. They maintained that university had taught them to work for equality and peaceful co-existence and activity was its practical example.
Team which commemorated the day included Aisha Fraz (ARHT C Block), Rabia Mumtaz (Warden C Block), Aqsa Zanib , Zoya , Saira Kareem, Hafsa Nawaz, Aqsa Arif, Safina Nimra.
