IIUI ALUMNI OFFICE HOLDS SEMINAR

The office of Alumni, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a seminar on “Skill development and Resume building” for the last semester’s students of university. The event was honored by Mr. Bilal Farooq as chief guest, an Alumnus of IIUI FMS, 2000 who is an entrepreneur and a motivational speaker. He has been educating and motivating students of universities in Islamabad. More than 100 students of  last semester hailing from different faculties such as Engineering & Technology, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Languages & Literature and International Institute of Islamic Economics attended the seminar.

Speakers focused on “Skill development and Resume building”, Addressing to students, Mr. Bilal guided them about the necessary steps and skills needed to land a perfect resume that is the starting point of a student’s image as a job applicant. Through a Questions & Answers (Q&A) session he focused on enhancing the skills needed to focus on during these times to compete in the challenging professional environment that lies outside the walls of this institute. He stressed the importance of skill development be it technical or social welfare, to help them have a taste of the professional environment.

The In Charge of IIUI Alumni Dr. Ali Haider also spoke on the occasion and briefed students about the progress of the IIUI Alumni office and its future plans and developments. On this occasion officials of the Alumni Office, IIUI also guided participants about their duties and also told them how the Office can help them in future.
