H.E. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President, International Islamic University (IIU) on Tuesday visited the constructions sites at the new campus and reviewed the ongoing development. During the inspection visit, the IIU President was accompanied by Prof. Dr. N B Jumani Vice President (AF&P) and Director (P&D).
Worthy President was briefed on the construction of three academic blocks at International Islamic University, H-10 Campus under PSDP Project titled, “Expansion and Up gradation of IIUI”.
The Resident Engineer of Consultants gave briefing and informed that two of the academic blocks are stipulated to be completed in the beginning of 2022 whereas the third is stipulated to be completed by the end of 2022. Worthy President advised Consultants to boost up the progress and achieve targets without compromising on the quality and the workmanship.
It is pertinent to mention here that one of the academic blocks at male campus will house Civil Engineering Department and Faculty of Social Sciences. One academic block, being constructed at women campus will house faculty of social sciences and faculty of management sciences. The third academic block will be shared by male and female students and it will have centralized laboratory facilities.
