IIUI mission is to transform the society by promoting education, training, research, technology, and collaboration for reconstruction of human thought in all its forms on the foundations of Islam.
World is moving towards the clean & green sources of energy generation. To bring maturity in utilizing these resources needs advanced research and efficient use of technology comprising of various disciplines of engineering and basic sciences. As future energy systems aim to be more efficient, cost-effective, environmentally benign, and interconnected with each other, their design and operation become ever challenging tasks for decision-makers, engineers, and scientists. Energy systems research provides fundamental engineering knowledge in areas of energy generation, hybrid energy systems, electrical power systems, conversion & energy management, conservation along with modules on energy sources & systems, energy policy, economics & associated environmental issues.
Pakistan has limited research & human resource pertaining to energy systems & technologies on the complete energy related challenge, which includes resources, generation technology, efficiency, conservation, control, emissions, policy and life cycle assessment. Digital transformation of energy management can increase energy efficiency and conservation through Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, battery technologies, IOT & smart grid technologies. This transformation will be a source of huge savings, especially for public buildings such as educational, health, government and other public institutions that have a large usage of energy.
