The Department of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, FSS, Female Campus of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a seminar on “Developing Research Proposal” for MS/PhD research scholars in seminar room Fatima-tuz-Zahra Block. The objective of the seminar was to enhance capabilities of emerging researchers on the aspects developing research proposals for their projects. The department organized this seminar keeping in view the prominence of research proposal development for students of Department of Education (Female Campus).
Dr. Shazia Naureen(Incharge, Department of Education) appreciated the enthusiasm and participatory spirit of the students. She also motivated students to identify new emerging areas of research.
Dr. Fouzia Ajmal (Assistant Professor, Department of Education) was the resource person. She elaborated all the steps of research proposal (Gape identification, Problem statement, Rationale, Methodology etc.).
During the seminar, Dr. Fouzia explained in detail about the important aspects of devolving research proposals to the seminar participants and told that research proposal is a document which pins down all the aspects of research areas. For new researchers, it becomes more significant to consider about research plans and time management.
On this occasion, the participants demonstrated great interest and involvement and made the session interactive. Faculty members (Department of Education) also attended the seminar.
