Directorate of Students Affairs, DSA (Male) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized orientation sessions to welcome the new students enrolled in various faculties at the campus. In this regard Dr Tauqeer Hussain Sargana, Director Students Affairs attended the session. The DSA IIUI arranged these sessions at faculty auditoriums while all Deans of the faculties addressed and welcomed the new students and shared their experiences, success stories of students and life at campus during the orientation ceremonies held at new campus. Freshmen welcome ceremonies were addressed by Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Usuluddin, Prof. Dr. Taj Afsar, Dean, Faculty of Arabic, Dr Fazal Ullah, Engineer Prof. Dr Nadeem Iqbal Sheikh, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Professor Dr Ata Ullah Faizi, Dean faculty of Sharia & Law, Dr. Muhammad Irfan, Dean Faculty of Basic & Applied Sciences, Dr. Abdul Rehman, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences. While, Dr. Rizwan Aftab from Faculty of Languages and Literature on behalf of Dean, FLL, Dr. Abubakkar Siddique on behalf of Director General, International Institute of Islamic Economics (IIIE), IIUI and on behalf of the Dean Faculty of Computing, Dr. Majid Bashir welcomed the newly enrolled students at IIUI. Department Heads and senior faculty members of various faculties also spoke to the newly admitted students during the orientation ceremonies organized by Directorate of Students Affairs. 
Deans of the faculties, senior faculty members and Director Students Affairs shared the vision of Worthy Rector and Worthy President about the university and urged the students to adopt patience and consistency during the study time at campus adding that these are the attributes that lead to the success and bright future. They opined that dedication and immense hard work is key to success. They said young students possess great potential and abilities which lead them to a brighter and prosperous future in their lives. “You are the future, take the responsibility and raise the lamp of knowledge, we will always be there to make your life a real success”, said the honorable Deans. The IIUI Faculty and DSA also highlighted the importance of youth in a society during these sessions and told that the university has adopted the latest technological trends to make our place among the top universities of the world. 
Director Students Affairs, Dr. Tauqeer Hussain Sargana in all sessions apprised of the vision of the President, IIUI briefed the students about the available facilities for students and gave an overview of the activities organized by the Directorate of the Students Affairs and code of conduct. Dr. Sargana also briefed newly enrolled students about the co-curricular, sports activities, fitness facilities, career counseling and recreation based activities at campus.
IIUI mission is to transform the society by promoting education, training, research, technology, and collaboration for reconstruction of human thought in all its forms on the foundations of Islam.
