Department of Mathematics of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) , for the first time has been placed at 351-400 in the latest edition by the world’s top most university rankings agency QS (Quacquarelli Symonds).
Prof Shahid Baig, chairman Pakistan Science Foundation, prof. Irfan khan, Dean FOS, Dr Rahmat Ellahi, Director Quality Assurance Directorate (QAD) presented ranking certificate to the Chairperson of the department.
Earlier, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was ranked on 241 position in QS Asia
University Rankings 2023 as well as IIUI was placed at 48th position in QS Southern Asia University Rankings 2023 by QS. It is also pertinent to mentioned, In the evaluation sheet of the top two percent researchers of the world prepared by Stanford University California, 5 faculty members of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) were ranked among the top 2 % best researchers across the world.
IIUI leadership felicitated the faculty on this achievement. Lauding the efforts of the faculty, they said this milestone of university’s success will help in improving ranking and it will also be a source of achieving its lofty goal of academic excellence.
