BLENDED LEARNING DELEGATION OF PARTNER VARSITIES VISITS IIUI OLD CAMPUS

The delegation of members Blended Learning (BLTeae) project from all partner universities visited IIUI Faisal Mosque Campus, IRI Gallery, Faisal Mosque and IRD Guest House.

A Joint Research Grant under H-2020 program of European Research Council was approved in 2016. This project is the 1st ever research grant awarded by the European Research Council under its H-2020 program for IIUI. Blended Learning courses for Teacher Educators between Asia and Europe (BLTeae) is a European Commission (EU) funded project under Erasmus + capacity building program. The project aims to support teacher educators’ professional development through blended Learning.

Upon reaching at Faisal Masjid campus,  Prof. Dr. Samina Malik Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences welcomed the delegation. Mr. Muhammad Adnan Khan Director HR, IIUI briefed the delegation about the progress of the project. Vice Presidents Dr. Aqdas Nanveed Malik and Dr. Muhammad Munir Khan  acknowledged the efforts of the BLTeae team from IIUI for the continuous efforts in making the project a success. The delegates thanked the IIUI Administration and Team for arranging their visit.

It is pertinent to mention here that he coordinating partner of this project  is Aix- Marseille University of France. The partner countries from Europe are: France, Belgium, Denmark and Estonia and the Asian partner countries are: Pakistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Malaysia. Furthermore, the partner institutions include Aalborg University Denmark, Tallinn University Estonia, Audiovisual Technologies, Informatics and Telecommunications Belgium, Royal University of Bhutan, Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia, Institut Pendidikan Guru, Kampus Batu Lintang Malaysia, University of Dhaka Bangladesh, Bangladesh Open University Bangladesh, National University of Modern Languages Islamabad-Pakistan & International Islamic University Islamabad- Pakistan.

 

From Pakistan National University of Modern Languages and International Islamic University Islamabad are the partners. From International Islamic University Prof. Dr. N. B. Jumani is the Principal Investigator of the Project. A training workshop for Online Tutors was organized at National University of Modern Languages from 10-13 December, 2018.
