University’s Apex committee for online teaching & learning has agreed to launch students portal to address their issues.
A meeting of the Apex committee for online teaching & learning was held at council hall. It was chaired by Vice President Academics, Professor Dr. Ayaz Afsar and attended by all Vice Presidents, Deans of the Faculties, Director Examination, Director Academics, Incharge IT and other officers.
The committee reviewed the Fall Semester and expressed satisfaction on successful completion of the semester despite covid-19 challenges. The committee advised IT Department to review the LMS with a view to make it more user friendly and submit report in next meeting. The Committee agreed to launch students portal to address their issues so that students shall be able to submit their queries through this portal.
Vice President Academics emphasized on training for faculty members to enable them to use LMS efficiently. He also highlighted the importance of course and teacher evaluation at the end of semester for improvement in next semesters. It was agreed that a committee to be headed by Prof Dr Muhammad Irfan Dean, Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences shall develop a preform for evaluation.
The committee also offered fateha for departed soul of Prof Dr Anwar H Siddiqui former President IIUI and paid rich tributes to his services for IIUI.
