Department of Teacher Education
Introduction
The Department of Teacher Education has its roots in Department of Education which was established in 2000. The Department has been established in September 2022 to cater the needs of preparing teachers and preparing professionals for different levels of education. It offers different programs which offer value and opportunity including PhD Education with specialization in Teacher Education, MS Education with specialization in Teacher Education, B.Ed Elementary Education (4 years), B.Ed Secondary Education and B.Ed (1.5 years). The Department is blessed with diverse, creative and impact driven faculty who are committed towards providing innovative teacher preparation for catering the diverse career needs.

Department of Teacher Education aspires to enhance the educational and teaching excellence, by catering the religious, social, economic, political and cultural needs of society and Muslim Uma regarding education.

The mission of Department of Teacher Education is to prepare teachers and other professionals in the field of teaching and learning and teacher preparation with knowledge, pedagogical skills, dispositions and Islamic character to achieve the quality.
