EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: LEADERSHIP POSITION FOR THE OFFICE OF ALUMNI

Office of the Alumni is part of University’s Directorate of University Advancement and Promotion in line with the IIUI’s approved organogram. The Directorate is reporting to the Office of the President. The President has taken an initiative to develop a plan to transform the IIUI Alumni Office into a vibrant and results-oriented entity focusing on developing innovative strategies, establishing measurable performance indicators, and creating a sustainable framework to strengthen alumni engagement, broaden networking opportunities, and drive impactful fundraising. The revamped Office, which will have a presence of both the male and female wings of the university, will collaborate actively with key university offices, including the Directorate of Quality Assurance Directorate & Development (QAD), Office of Linkages, Directorate of Student Affairs, other entities in the Directorate of University Advancement and Financial Aid, Public Relations & Protocol (P&PR), and the International Office to promote strategic alignment and enhance IIUI’s global alumni network. This initiative seeks to foster meaningful connections and reinforce IIUI’s international presence.

To lead this initiative and expand the existing team, nominations are invited from faculty members specifically and IIUI staff in general for the leadership role. Nominees must be current employees of the University, preferably alumni from its early decades, and prepared to take on the associated challenges. If you are passionate about shaping the future of alumni relations or know someone who fits this profile, we encourage you to submit an expression of interest. Self-nominations are also welcome.

Please send nominations, along with reasons explaining why you or the nominee should be considered, to [email protected] no later than 24th January 2025.
