Islamabad—The Rector of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Samina Malik chaired a meeting on Thursday to discuss preparations for the upcoming Board of Trustees meeting. The session began with fateha khwani for the late Prof. Dr. N.B. Jumani, the former Vice President of IIUI, who passed away recently.
The meeting was attended by IIUI President Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, Vice Presidents, and other senior officials. In her remarks, the Rector paid glowing tribute to Dr. Jumani’s invaluable contributions to the university, praising his leadership and dedication. He emphasized that Dr. Jumani’s legacy would continue to inspire the institution and its community.
Attendees of the meeting also expressed their deep sorrow over the loss of a distinguished academic and administrator, remembering his pivotal role in advancing IIUI’s academic mission. The Rector called for a collective commitment to uphold the values and reforms Dr. Jumani championed for the progress of the university.
