DEPT. OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (FMS) IIU AND SUZUKI MOTORS ORGANIZE TEST DRIVE EVENT FOR STUDENTS AND FACULTY AT CAMPUS

JOINT INITIATIVE AIMS TO BRIDGE ACADEMIA-INDUSTRY GAP AND PROMOTE MARKETING UNDERSTANDING

 

In a bid to foster practical understanding of marketing strategies and strengthen ties between academia and industry, the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) collaborated with Pak Suzuki Motors Islamabad to host an engaging test drive event at new campus of the university.

Under the supervision of departmental heads of the Faculty of Management Sciences headed by Prof. Dr. Sayed Tahir Hussain Rizvi and students of the faculty, the event served as a platform to introduce students and faculty to contemporary marketing practices within the corporate sector.

Headed by Syed Ehsan and marketing team from Pak Suzuki Motors, the event showcased a range of brand-new Suzuki Car models and spare parts, offering attendees first-hand experience and insights into the automotive industry.

The collaboration not only provided a unique experiential learning opportunity but also paved the way for potential long and short-term programs tailored for marketing students in partnership with Pak Suzuki Motors. By facilitating interaction between academia and industry professionals, the event aimed to equip students with practical skills and industry knowledge essential for their professional development.

Commenting on the initiative, a representative from the Faculty of Management Sciences stated, “This collaborative effort signifies our commitment to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. By engaging with leading industry players like Pak Suzuki Motors, we aim to provide our students with holistic learning experiences that prepare them for real-world challenges.”
