Introduction The 8th International Applied Business Research Conference (8th IABRC) will be organized by the Faculty of Management Sciences, International Islamic University, Islamabad to be held on 21st and 22nd February 2024 at Faisal Mosque Complex, IIUI, Islamabad. With a focus on the future of the business world, this conference aims to bring together eminent research scholars, academicians, industry experts, social scientists, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and trainers from all over the world for a synergistic exercise to predict what the future holds for the business. We have been witnessing Economic disruptions, environmental change, political instability, health crises, diversity and inequalities, and fast-paced technological changes across the globe which have challenged the traditional approaches to managing organizations. To navigate the future it has become pertinent to employ innovation in each aspect of management in transforming future organizations to ensure sustainable growth. Business evolution has always been driven by innovation and the unwavering search for new concepts and solutions. Innovation is no longer a choice but inevitable for survival and growth. This innovative environment necessitates a culture of ongoing learning, flexibility, agility, and adaptation. Through the development of revolutionary technologies, innovative business models, or ground-breaking marketing strategies, innovation helps businesses stay ahead of the curve by anticipating and meeting customer needs in real-time, and reacting quickly to technological advancements and disruptions. Innovation is the compass that points businesses towards the uncharted territories of the future. Innovation drives business growth, but sustainability grounds them in moral obligation. Businesses are under increasing pressure to operate ethically and sustainably, as investors, regulators, and customers demand. For long-term survival, this is not just a moral duty but also a strategic imperative. Adaptability and evolution have become the defining characteristics that separate the successful from the unsuccessful. Every aspect of an organization is affected by this change. They are incorporating data-driven decision-making, reimagining customer experiences, and using artificial intelligence to automate repetitive tasks. Three interrelated and interdependent forces innovation, sustainability, and business transformation are responsible for this massive change. Together, they are creating a new frontier that will influence tomorrow's business environment. In light of the present situation of the business world, there is a high responsibility on the researchers and stakeholders of the business world to sit together and devise strategies to deal with the challenges of the tech-savvy world and play a role in shaping a sustainable future. Keeping this in view, we are inviting scholars from around the world to this multidisciplinary conference and exchange their experiences and share their scientific research. The conference also responds to the universal call of action by the United Nations to protect and improve the lives of everyone everywhere. Focusing on the radical changes in the technology shift to attain social sustainability the present conference targets SDG’s quality education, decent work, economic growth, industrial innovation and infrastructure, and no poverty, by providing a platform where scholars, researchers, and practitioners deliver on multiple disciplines of management sciences, social sciences, and economics to work as a joint force for a sustainable future. They can share their experiences to cope with novel ideas and solutions to address the challenges for the business in the era of business transformation through innovation in every aspect of the business to ensure a sustainable future. It will also help to make policy guidelines and strategies for a successful multi-faceted business transformation. 3. Doctoral Consortium This segment of the 8th IABRC aims to invite prominent researchers in each domain of Management Sciences to guide the MS/Ph.D. scholars and to facilitate and encourage them to pursue productive research in their respective areas of specialization. They will also discuss the contemporary issues in each area of study in management sciences to come up with possible solutions in their research work. 4. Training Workshop on Research Tools/Software The training workshop aims to provide state-of-the-art training on the latest tools being used in management sciences research.
