SEERAT UN NABI CELEBRATIONS IN IIUI FEMALE CAMPUS

The Female Campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) orchestrated a two-day celebrations of Seerat un Nabi (Life of the Prophet PBUH) under the support of the Directorate of Student Affairs of the Female Campus. The event, transcending linguistic boundaries, featured trilingual competitions in Arabic, Urdu, and English, bringing together national and international students in a harmonious celebration.

The celebration was inaugurated  by Dr. Sumayya Chughtai, Incharge of the Female Campus.
On the first day, more than 40 students participated in a trilingual essay writing competition and a Seerah quiz. Eight exceptional participants advanced to the final round, setting the stage for a captivating culmination on the following day. Simultaneously, a trilingual Naat competition unfolded in the Fatima Block Auditorium, where the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were celebrated through t Naat recitation.

The second day, witnessed the eagerly anticipated trilingual Speech Competition at the Fatima Block Auditorium. Over 200 students engaged in discussions centered around the topic “Prophetic Strategies for Rebuilding Society,” showcasing a deep exploration of the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and their relevance to contemporary challenges.

A panel of distinguished judges meticulously evaluated each competition, and Dr. Sumayya Chughtai, Incharge Female Campus and Dr. Sadia Saleem Cheema, Students Advisor took to the stage to acknowledge the students’ unwavering enthusiasm and profound engagement. Certificates were distributed among the winners by the Director of Students Affairs, marking their achievements in the celebrations.

During the celebration participants and the audience remain engaged with the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). At the end Students Advisor said that the Directorate of Student Affairs at the Female Campus is committed to ensuring meaningful celebrations fostering an environment of holistic development and understanding of the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
