A meeting under the chairmanship of Acting President, Prof. Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani was held at the council hall of new campus to discuss fee related issues of students.
The chair conveyed that the IIUI President has directed that students must not face any constraints, delays or problems in fee related issues. The chair was apprised about fee reconciliation and coordination of the various departments with IT.
It was recommend that Academics, exams, hostels and other miscellaneous fee matters must be integrated with the synchronization of all these department through IT and there must not be any gap or discoordination in this regard. The chair desired that the finance department must send the requirements related to the fee matters to IT and all such stakeholders through cooperation with IT department must pass the information of requirement.
It was recommended that the focused group based surveys related to the fee issues must be conducted and gleaned by the IT department in presence of the IT experts . The committee also recommended that in pursuit of for smooth fee collection and easiest fee submission procedure, this committee and its experts will monitor, guide and facilitate all the stakeholders to come up with best solution. The committee conveyed that all the concerned departments must complete the given tasks and report back in the meeting in next week. The committee also discussed integration of data and upcoming utilization of the CMS under the vision of the worthy President IIUI. The chair also desired that the IT team will apprise him of the latest progress of developing desk formed in the IT section.
The meeting was also attended by IT faculty experts that included Dr. Imran Saeed, Dr. Qaiser Javed and Dr. Sadia Saleem. While it was also attended by incharge IT, officials of the finance and fee departments and allied officials of IT. The committee encouraged the proposal that the faculties must give FYPs to the students to solve the issues of IT developing.
