In connection with celebrations of Seerat un Nabvi (S.A.W.) week at IIUI campus, today Speech and Qirat competitions were organized by Directorate of Students Affairs, DSA (Male) Campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Qirat and Speech competitions were held here at the Faculty Block Auditorium in which Dr. Sayed Asif, HoD, Department of Tafseer from Faculty of Usuluddin, Islamic Studies, judge for Qirat competition while, Dr. kamran Abbas Kazmi, HoD Urdu from Faculty of Languages and Literature was judge for speech competition.
In Qirat competition today, Muhammad Safdar got 1st Position, while Moawia and Sami Ul haq got 2nd and 3rd Positions while, in Speech Competition, Qaisar Mehmood got 1st while, Abdul Sattar and All Abas got 2nd and 3rd Positions. The program was attended by a large number of faculty members, students of the university.
Dr. Tauqeer Hussain Sargana, Director Students Affairs, convener of the event appreciated all students who participated in Speech and Qirat competitions and also highlighted the significance of Seerat un Nabvi (S.A.W.) for adoption in life of each Muslim for a successful life.
Names of IIUI Students who participated in Qirat competition include, Moawia, Shahid Khalid, Saad Muhammad Ishad, Muhammad Ali Hassnain, ibrar Hussain, Hafiz Obaid, Syed Abdul Wahab, Muhammad Safdar, hidayat ullah, Sami ul haq, Ihtisham ul haq, Mazz Abubakar, hafiz Usman Shafeer, Muhammad usama jawad, Abubakar Sultan and Abdullah Wali ur Rehman. The names of IIUI Students who participated in Speech competition include, Kaleem Ullah Khalid, Muhammad Ali, Imran Ahmed, M. Osama mehmood, Ali Abbas, M.Yasir, Abdul jawad, M. Ajmal, Qaisar mehmood, Abdul Sattar and Azlan Sarwar.
