NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL DAYS
National Days commemorate the commonality and unanimity among different segment of masses that reminds the glorious moments when someone great marked the day in his favor. Such days are not only glorious in terms of remembering the key personalities and events rather there are religious celebrations that also commemorate the purpose of National Days. Along with the spirit of National Days, the Directorate also arranges important events to celebrate International Days that also include the Independence Days of brotherly nations whose students/nationals are studying in IIUI. Celebrating National Days of foreign nationalities bring inclusiveness and harmony between students. Around 2,000 students from over 45 countries are studying at IIUI that presumably obligates the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) to cherish and celebrate their aspirations and love for their nations.

23 March Pakistan Day Commemorates the Lahore Resolution, which formally demanded an independent Muslim-majority state to be created out of the British India. The republic was also declared on this day in 1956.
14 August Independence Day Marking Pakistani independence and the formation of Pakistan in 1947.
06 September Defence and Martyrs Day Defence Day (commemorating the Indo-Pak War of 1965)
09 November Iqbal Day Iqbal day is the anniversary of the birth of Allama Iqbal
25 December Quaid-e-Azam Day Birthday of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan.
