H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), visited Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering (DCS & SE) at Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences (FBAS).
Worthy President also visited Computer Labs in the department. on this occasion, Mr. Imran Saeed, Acting Incharge of the Department gave a briefing about the programs and activities of the department.
Amid President’s visit, he was accompanied by Dean FBAS Prof. Dr. Muhammad Irfan Khan, heads of departments and faculty members from male and female campuses.
IIUI President stressed upon the faculty to be devoted for provision of best academic facilities to students. On this occasion, Dr. Hathal issued directions to expedite the efforts for establishment of Faculty of Computing. He also reiterated his resolve that IIUI would keep providing a milieu of peace and high quality contemporary education integrated with teachings of Islam. He desired that culture of research should be promoted among the students.
