Provost Office (Hostels), Female Campus of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), arranged ‘Eid-Ul-Fitr” celebrations with foreign students residing at hostel blocks of female campus of the university on Thursday, 13th of May, the first day of Eid.
According to the details, female foreign Students residing at IIUI hostels from different foreign countries celebrated first day of “Eid-Ul-Fitr” in Female Hostel Blocks with great religious fervor and joy. All students residing in hostel blocks actively participated during preparation of place for Eid prayer, while they also decorated lawns in the hostel blocks on this occasion. All the celebrations were in accordance with the SOP’s provided by NCOC and all the measures were taken carefully in this concern by the hostel management on this occasion.
On this occasion, Dr. Humaira Ishfaq (Provost Female Hostels) paid Special Eid Wishes and Greetings to students with the prayers of health and prosperity in the hard time of Covid-19’s 3rd wave. She further addressed that “Eid-Al-Fitr is the first day of Shawwal and it marks the end of Ramadan-Al-Kareem, the month of Blessings. Moreover she added that we should not forget the poor at this occasion of Eid.
Foreign Students thanked hostels management for providing such a homely environment at this event commenting, Besides far from their loved one’s they enjoyed a lot and cherished moments of this beautiful event with full spirit.
In the end special and lavish refreshment was also served for the hostel boarders.
