In wake of spring season and to promote green culture, provost office female campus of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized lawns decoration and beautification competition at Female Campus of the University.
The event was graced by Dr. Irfan, Dean Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences (FBAS), IIUI. Dr. Humaira, Provost Female Campus, officials from provost office and officials from Horticulture Department of IIUI also participated in the event. Female students actively and enthusiastically participated in the competition.
Speakers appreciated students and horticulture staff for decorating lawns with flowers and plants in different orders and urged that every individual should participate in such healthy activities. They said that greenery helps to combat global warming.
Dr. Irfan appreciated efforts of provost office female campus for organizing such a healthy competition. Certificates were distributed among winners and runner up teams of the competition in the end.
