An inspection visit was held to review the arrangements of facilitation at the university banks on Monday. The inspection team was headed by Vice President AF&P, Prof. Dr. N.B. Jumani and Vice President Academics, Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar.
The Vice Presidents were also accompanied by Consultant Finance, Zaigham Saleem, Incharge IT, Shehzad Saleem, Additional Director Finance , Ayaz Ali and other relevant officials.
The IIUI Vice Presidents directed that the student facilitation must be the top priority. At the HBL Bank, the Vice Presidents listened to the issues of the students and desired that there must be a proper mechanism for fee collection. The bank management briefed that soon a digital payment policy will be initiated with the help of IIUI’s IT department. The Vice Presidenst assured of maximum support and desired that expedited efforts be made in this regard.
The team headed by the Vice Presidents, also visited the Allied Bank and directed that alternative arrangements for fee collection such as Mobile Cash Collection counter be managed on priority basis so that student may pay dues without any delay and in the line of implementation of COVID-19 SOPs.
The team also visited the First Women Bank and desired that there should be separate cash collecting counters at the banks as well for the maximum facilitation of the students.
The IIUI administration vowed that no stone will be left unturned to facilitate the students and there should be a well devised policy for fee and dues collection to avoid rush and ensure maximum facilitation in future.
