CHINESE EMBASSY ENDOWS FOOD PACKS FOR IIUI EMPLOYEES

Chinese Cultural Counselor and Director of the China Cultural Centre Zhang Heqing  in Pakistan visited International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) on Wednesday and handed over endowment  of food packs for IIUI employees .

He was also accompanied by First Secretary of Chinese Embassy, Pan Yuqi, while both the officials met IIUI Acting President, Prof. Dr. N.B. Jumani .

Vice President Academics Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Provost male and coordinator of the endowment activity Dr. Abrar Anver  and  Director Administration Khalid Mehmood Raja were also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, the Cultural Counselor and Dr. N.B Jumani shared bilateral views on mutual interests. They discussed mutual academic cooperation, strong ties between both states and future opportunities to enhance educational cooperation.

The Counselor said that the endowment of food pack was actually a token of thanks in recognition of IIUI’s support and care for the Chinese students amid global pandemic. IIUI Acting President thanked Chinese Embassy for philanthropic act and vowed that IIUI will be among leading ranks to enhance bilateral cooperation in all aspects.
