The Department of Environmental Science, Male campus, organized training sessions on Learning Management System (LMS).
These two separate sessions for regular and visiting faculty were arranged by Dr. Muhammad Ibrar Shinwari, Chairman, Department of Environmental Science (Male campus).
The master trainer, Dr. Zafeer Saqib, Assistant Professor, DES briefed the faculty members about LMS system. The trainer and organizers told that hands on practice training to all the faculty members (regular & visiting) to use and manage Google classroom and G suite were provided which was the core purpose of the training.
Later on, it was discussed and realized that LMS has become a significant tool for nearly all institutions of higher education, and a driving force in online learning because of the current global situation.
Moreover, both the sessions covered the guidelines and tips for preparing E folders and recording lectures using different soft wares in the light of the policies set by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
During the training all safety measures and social distancing was maintained according to WHO standards provided. At the end of the session, faculty members gave a very positive remarks regarding the training carried out.
