The 1st meeting of Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) of year 2020 was held under the Chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Vice President (Higher Studies & Research HS&R), IIUI in Council Hall, Administration Block, IIUI on Thursday.
It was also attended by Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Vice President (Female Campus), Prof. Dr. Amir, Secretary (BASR), Deans, Heads of departments and other relevant Officials of the university. The Board discussed and analyzed synopsis of thesis PhD students of International Institute of Islamic Economics (IIIE, IIUI), Faculty of Shariah & Law, Faculty of Arabic and Faculty of Languages & Literature, IIUI.
The Board issued instructions for students regarding research work. IIUI VP, Dr. Aqdas Naveed urged the participants to introduce latest trends of research and explore new avenues for academic excellence.
