IIUI Rector Dr. Masoom Yasinzai has said Islam is religion of peace and humanity; it advocates hugs and discourages pushes.
He was addressing at the concluding ceremony of 35th Human Resource Development Program (HRD) for professionals and officers of Armed forces, organized by Dawah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad. The course included recreational trips, special interactive session, IT basics, lectures of the veteran scholars.
IIUI Rector stressed upon the participants that they must disseminate true teachings of Islam. He said that they are the most important people of the society who are torch bearers of the teachings of Islam. The program was also attended by Director General Dawah Academy, Dr. Sohail Hassan and other officials of the academy.
