IIUI, INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF AFRICA (SUDAN) INK MOU, AGREE TO EXTEND COOPERATION

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prof. Dr. Kamal Mohamed Obaid, Rector International University of Africa Republic of Sudan, under the patronage of Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Morocco Rabat in a program held at International University of Africa in Sudan. The MoU is signed to build bridges of international cooperation in the academic, scientific and research aspects. This ceremony was also attended by the Directors of leading International Universities, members of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FIUW) and participants of a the program held at International University of Africa in Sudan, for exchange of students between universities.

The MoU aims to enhance academic, scientific and research cooperation and bilateral educational understanding between the two parties aiming exchanging visits of faculty members and postgraduate students in various research projects as well as exchange of researchers, organizing meetings, conferences, training and holding of seminars between the two leading institutions. The MoU will ensure cooperation in developing scientific research in higher education, promotion of academic excellence linking higher education with sustainable development.
