Vladmir Yordanov, Partnership Development Manager of the UK’s Coventry University called on Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) at his office.
Issues pertaining to educational cooperation such as joint degree programs, faculty development, and mobility and exchange programswere discussed.
Vladmir introduce this university, programs and opportunities of bilateral cooperation. He said that his university was keen to engage Pakistani universities with its faculties and departments in a strategic and sustainable way.
IIUI Rector apprised him about the vision of the university and also conveyed the vision of IIUI Chancellor Dr. Arif Alvi who has directed to focus on ODL and AI aspects. He said keeping the future plans in view, IIUI will be eager to find such useful collaborations. He elaborated that university is focused on inculcating Islamic values and nurturing young minds to preach peaceful co-existence. He hoped that the center will keep working to cooperate with IIUI on dissemination of peace.
The meeting was also attended by Vice President Academics Prof. Dr. Tahir Khalily, Advisor and IIUI Pesident Prof. Ahmed Shuja Syed and other relevant officials.
