Professor Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh, President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) called on Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahmood at his Office on Tuesday. During meeting Federal Minister expressed his gratitude to the Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s government for its continuous support for the country steadfastly, while both nations have strong brotherly relations and always love to enhance bilateral relations in all spheres of life. He urged that universities must prepare our youth in such a way that they could meet the challenges of modern era and play their constructive role in progress and prosperity of the country. Education Minister lauded role of Dr. Draiweesh for his continuous efforts for the development of the International Islamic University Islamabad.
During meeting with the Minister, Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh said that through the platform of International Islamic University, our efforts to spread true teachings of Islam and its values will remain continue and development in all sectors is motto of both nations. Dr. Draiweesh hoped that under leadership of the Education Minister, we will achieve the desired goals in spreading quality education throughout the country. He added that development is directly linked with quality education while, educational institutions must make all possible efforts to impart quality education to meet the international standards.
During meeting with the Education Minister, Director, Distance Education, IIUI and Legal Advisor to the President, IIUI were also present on this occasion. At the end of meeting, Dr. Draiweesh presented a university crest to the Education Minister.
