STUDENTS FROM IQRA RESIDENTIAL COLLEGE, QUETTA VIST IIUI

A fifty member delegation hailing from Iqra Residential College, Baluchistan visited International Islamic University (IIUI) Islamabad on Tuesday.

The delegation was headed by its Principal Muhammad Usman Kasi, while it included inchrge of the delegation Adnan Yasinzai, staff members and students.

IIUI Rector Dr. Masoon Yasinzai addressed the delegation at the new campus. He elaborated the role of university in nation building, inculcating Islamic values and imparting contemporary knowledge. He said youth is future of Pakistan.  He added that no investment is better than the investment in youth. He emphasized that interdisciplinary research, entrepreneurial attitudes and equal opportunities to the young minds can lead Pakistan towards prosperity and stability.

Earlier, Vice President, Dr. Muhammad Munir introduced university to the students after screening of a profile documentary of the university. He also guided the students about special quota for Baluchistan students, admission process and facilities provided by the university.

College’s principal thanked the Rector and his team and termed this visit as a valuable exposure activity. The delegation also attended a lecture by Director General Dawah IIUI. He introduced Dawah academy and message of the academy that is preaching true teachings of Islam.

Later, the delegation also visited Faisal Masjid campus, while Iqbal Institute for Research and Dialogue received the delegation for dinner. Earlier, the delegation also visited the senate of Pakistan.
