Second Summer Camp prize distribution organized for the female students of the University concluded here at Female Campus of the University, the concluding ceremony was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh, President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). Addressing to the students, President, IIUI appreciated efforts of the organizers of the summer camp and said that role of women is vital in all spheres of life, so it is our responsibility to provide them best opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities along with the co- curricular activities, so that after completing education from university they can become an efficient part of the society.
He added that summer camp is aimed at exchanging the experiences and it is designed to bring various cultures closer to each other. He urged for Muslim Unity and said that youth is the vital force to make Muslims united to face the challenges of the hour. He reiterated his resolve that IIUI will keep striving to provide best opportunities to students to polish their skills and broaden their exposure. He advised students to be well aware to the advancements and take guidance from Islamic teachings in their lives, especially, Allah Almighty has provided best guidance in Quraanic Sooras which are focusing on the rights of women in all spheres of life.
The summer camp was organized by Students Advisor Office, Female Campus of the University. The concluding ceremony was also attended by Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Vice President, Female Campus, IIUI, Prof. Dr. Haroon Ur Rasheed, Dean Faculty of Usuluddin, Dr. Nyla Jabeen, Students’ Advisor, Female, Dr. Yasmin Akhtar, Deputy Students’ Advisor, Ms Nadia Mukhtar, Assistant Sports Officer, faculty members and a large numbers of female students at Auditorium Female Campus, IIUI. In the end Dr. Draiweesh awarded certificates among the winner students of different competitions and organizers of the summer camp.
