The office of Alumni organized an Alumni seminar and get together at the IIUI Faculty Block 1. The seminar was honored by our Alumni Chief Guest Dr. Nisar ul Haq (Faculty of Usuluddin 1986) and Mr. Abdul Salam Arif (Faculty of Social Sciences 2011). The seminar was attended by many foreign and National students of IIUI and Alumni as well comprising of 9 different nationalities.
The In charge of Alumni Office Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Anwar, talked about how valuable the alumni network is and how precious the Alumni are to the university. Dr. Nisar ul Haq talked about Islam and how it is being preached in other countries. As Dr. Nisar ul Haq is a scholar at the Alabama Islamic centers USA. He gave a comparison of how Islam is being taught in America and Pakistan and how preaching the right way brings about a change in the life styles and thinking of the Muslim world for progress and prosperity.
The Dean Faculty of Usulludin Prof. Dr. Haroon Rashid, also an Alumnus appreciated the Alumni office for organizing such an event, he talked about the importance of the topic and also thanked Dr. Nisar ul Haq for being a part of the Alumni Activities and cherished his presence and contribution to the alma mater.
The Alumni shared their experiences and reminisced the old days at university and appreciated the department for arranging a networking and get together program.
