Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) called on Director of the Office of the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Dr. Abdullah Al Tayer welcomed President IIUI and hailed his efforts for the promotion of education across the Muslim world. IIUI President expressed thanks and appreciation to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for continuous support. He also promised to provide the necessary assistance to achieve the objectives and mission of the University.
IIUI President gave a brief presentation on the activities and vision of the university. The President discussed with him some issues related to the university such as progress of the educational process, university’s leading role in scientific and research fields, community service, the dissemination of Islamic sciences and Arabic language sciences.
In the meeting, both the officials agreed that the cooperation between IIUI and the Islamic Cooperation Organization would continue for the benefit of Muslim world.
